Drop Dumplings

1 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. melted butter


  1. Mix dry ingredients, add butter, then enough milk to make a dough that will be like a thick quick bread and able to drop from a spoon.
  2. Drop spoonful’s into simmering stew or whatever dish you are making.
  3. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
