  1. One teaspoon of copper sulfate a day flushed down the toilet daily will help keep shrub and tree roots out of of the sewer.
    2. You can find copper sulfate at garden centers, hardware stores and nurseries. 3. March through November is root growing season. Roots do not grow during the winter.
